Dust Collector Inspections
Protect your investment and your team with regular inspections.
Dust collectors are engineered to provide years of reliable air filtration and air pollution control. But things do happen, and we can’t always see them. Protecting your investment with an annual or semi-annual scheduled inspection will ensure your dust collector is performing as designed and is NFPA and OSHA compliant. Proper preventative maintenance means maximizing the life of your dust collector, assuring a healthier work environment to promote decreased employee and production downtime. But what if you or your maintenance team are not familiar with dust collectors and do not know what to look for?
Cardinal Air Design offers a dust collector inspection service that covers a 28 point checklist. We inspect the unit housing, blower, filters, and much more during the inspection to make sure no stone is unturned. We visually inspect for damage, corrosion, rust and leaks as well as inspection of the systems controls and instrumentation. An airflow test will be conducted to see if the system is operating properly and adjustments can be made to maximize efficiency. At the end of he inspection a detailed report will be written up about the findings along with recommendations for preventative maintenance or whether you should replace a part that is near end of life.
When was the last time your dust collector was inspected? If you do not know, or don’t have in-house inspections of your dust collector, leave it to the experts! Cardinal Air Design will inspect your system and keep you running at maximum efficiency while keeping your downtime to a minimum.
